Valley of the Sun Ultimate has been an official non-profit organization for less than 30 years, but it has been a community of players and organizers for much longer. New Year Fest, our locally run tournament, entered its fourth decade in 2012.

Before VOTS had a web page, or even a yellow message board, VOTS founding member Kevin Hatch semi-regularly published a newsletter, handed out at pick-up and league games. It included organizational updates, tournament wrap-ups, other shenanigans. Keep an eye out for sneaky subliminal messages and puzzles.
